The 2023 Les Hauts-Conseillants, which comes mainly from the Néac plateau, was picked September 10 to 19. It has a light, gravel-tinged bouquet with well-defined black fruit. A subtle cigar humidor note emerges with time. The palate is medium-bodied with soft tannins that frame the simple black plum and blueberry fruit. It just needs a little more grip on the finish, but otherwise, it constitutes a decent early-drinking Lalande-de-Pomerol.
