The NV Pét-Nat Tea LAU Milk Oolong shows a slightly cloudy, intense yellow color with lime-green shimmer and opens with an intense, complex bouquet reminiscent of chestnuts as well as rocks, lemon zest, asparagus water, some coconut, caramel and black tea sweetened with brown candy and a little milk. Dried camellia leaves give LAU its unique and interesting character, which should please black-tea drinkers. Full-bodied, clear and fresh on the palate, with fine perlage and remarkably persistent structure, this is a pleasantly dry, grippy and stimulating pét-nat that even goes well with cereal, nuts, almonds, pistachios, roasted chestnuts and all sorts of edible seeds but also whole grain rice with mushrooms or vegetables tossed in butter. 2% alcohol. Crown cap. 269 bottles of this lot L 432019 were filled on 12/30/2019. The sample is number 162. Tasted in October 2021.
