The NV Pét-Nat Tea HIRU Special Blend Malawi Green & White Peony is based on green tea (70%) and white peony from Malawi and, of course, spring water from the Izzaraitz Massif in the Basque Country. Slightly milky in its intense yellow-golden color, this pét-nat displays an intense, clear, floral and stony bouquet with fine fruit, citrus and subtle Brazil nut and/or almond notes as well as a hint of seaweed. This is very fine, light, elegant and perfectly balanced on the palate, yet it's complex and structured, with delicate, persistent acidity, fine phenolic and subtle fruit sweetness, notes of dates, figs and nuts, and a delicate, slightly mineral finish. It even reminds a bit of Jura wines. 2% alcohol. Crown cork. 258 bottles of this lot L 92020 were filled on 02/03/2021. The sample is number 119. Tasted in October 2021.
