2014 Château Montlandrie: 91 Punkte
The 2014 Montlandrie is gorgeous. Dark, sensual and inviting, it offers up a compelling mélange of dark red cherry, sage, tobacco, menthol and licorice. Pliant and expressive, this is a terrific choice for drinking now and over the next few years. - Antonio Galloni (02/2017)
2019 Chardonnay Hubert de Boüard: 90 Punkte
The 2019 Chardonnay is the most complete of the whites in this range from Hubert de Boüard. All the elements are impeccably balanced here. This is very nicely done. Light tropical accents run through a core of citrus and floral nuances. - Antonio Galloni (01/2022)
2018 Château Croix Mouton: 88 Punkte
The 2018 Croix Mouton has a powerful nose of dense black fruit laced with melted tar, cedar and tobacco scents, a bit static compared to some of its peers but decent for a Bordeaux Supérieur. The palate is medium-bodied with dry tannins on the entry. Grippy and quite assertive, displaying plenty of structure and backbone, although it needs more finesse and precision on the finish. I can imagine it with a hearty steak, however. - Neal Martin (01/2021)

2019 Château Robin: 90-91 Punkte
A pretty 2019 with lots of purple fruit, violets and some chocolate and stone. It’s medium-bodied with round, creamy tannins and a delicious finish. Shows finesse and brightness. (08/2020)
2014 Château Montlandrie: 93 Punkte
I love the aromas of blackberries and chocolate with flowers. Full body, soft and velvety tannins and a long and flavorful finish. Gorgeous red. Drink or hold. (02/2017)
2019 Chardonnay Hubert de Boüard: 90 Punkte
A pleasant chardonnay with cooked-apple, cream and light yogurt character. Medium to full body. Delicious finish. (02/2022)
2018 Clos Fontaine Premier Vin: 88 Punkte
Some slightly stewed-fruit character with chocolate and walnut undertones. Medium-bodied with round, easy tannins and a savory finish. Drink now. (03/2021)

2019 Château Robin: 90 Punkte
The 2019 Château Robin shows classic limestone minerality as well as a pretty perfume of red fruits, white flowers, crushed chalk, and hints of dried tobacco leaves. Nicely balanced, medium-bodied, and straight-up silky on the palate, this beauty can be drunk today or cellared for 8-10 years. (04/2022)
2019 Chardonnay Hubert de Boüard: 88 Punkte
The 2019 Hubert De Boüard Chardonnay is solid stuff, offering impressive citrus blossom, honeyed pineapple, and toasted spice notes in a medium-bodied, nicely balanced, refreshing style. As with everything from this team, it's impeccably made, and I suspect it will be a good value. (04/2022)

2014 Château Montlandrie: 93 Punkte
A blend of 75% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc, and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2014 Montlandrie has a deep garnet color, with a touch of brick. It bursts from the glass with notes of chocolate mint and black cherry preserves, followed by nuances of blackberry preserves, rose oil, and wild sage, plus a hint of licorice. The medium to full-bodied palate has a firm frame of ripe, rounded tannins and well-knit freshness supporting the muscular black fruits, finishing long with a minty kick. (06/2024)

2014 Château Montlandrie: 91 Punkte
Ripe and forward, with a bold core of anise and cassis flavors that is carried by a well-embedded graphite spine. Shows toasted spice and anise hints on the finish but retains a racy feel. Drink now through 2024. 3,467 cases made. - J.M.
2018 Château Croix Mouton: 89 Punkte
Lightly steeped damson plum and black cherry notes are expressive, while fine-grained structure pulls in light humus and cedar details through the finish. Drink now through 2022. 27,280 cases made, 6,000 cases imported. - J.M.

2014 Château Montlandrie: 90 Punkte
The 2014 Montlandrie, the Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux from Denis Durantou, is a blend of 75% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon (yes, different to the percentages stated during primeur—happy to correct it now!). It offers attractive red cherry, wild strawberry and pastille-like scents on the pure bouquet, though maybe I discern a little more complexity on Denis' two Lalande-de-Pomerols, La Chenade and Les Cruzelles. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannin. This feels a little compact at the moment (possibly because of the low pressure system on the day that I tasted?), although there is still commendable depth of fruit and a gentle grip on the persistent finish. I would just give this a couple more years in bottle. - Neal Martin (03/2017)
2019 Chardonnay Hubert de Boüard: 90-92 Punkte
The 2019 Le Chardonnay has achingly delicate scents of honey-drizzled white peaches, spiced apples and Bosc pears with wafts of marzipan and pie crust. The medium-bodied palate delivers loads of finely knit apple and stone fruit flavors with a silken texture and bags of freshness, finishing long and spicy. Since Chardonnay is not one of the Bordeaux AC's permitted grapes, this wine uses the relatively new Vin de Pays de l'Atlantique designation. But don't let the declassified designation fool you—this is serious Chardonnay and it is seriously good! - Lisa Perrotti-Brown (06/2020)
