2023 Echo de Lynch-Bages

A balance of blackberry, chocolate and stone with a medium body, creamy texture and a soft finish. The length and depth are very pretty, while the juicy, velvety tannins are so attractive. (04/2024)

Graphite, tobacco, spicy herbs, and both red and black fruits all emerge from the 2023 Echo De Lynch-Bages, a medium to full-bodied second wine that has plenty of tannins, good balance, and outstanding length. The tannins aren't as polished as the Grand Vin, but this has real character. (05/2024)

Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2023 Echo de Lynch-Bages springs from the glass with vivacious notes of redcurrant jelly and crushed blackcurrant giving way to wafts of dried herbs and crushed rocks. The medium-bodied palate is lively and savory, with lightly chewy tannins and an invigorating lift on the finish. The blend is 55% Merlot, 43% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 2% Cabernet Franc. (05/2024)
