Black and blue fruits, leather, liquid violets, and some gravelly earth notes all emerge from the 2023 Château Moulin Haut-Laroque, a medium-bodied, concentrated, nicely balanced, slightly foursquare Fronsac with solid mid-palate depth. It has outstanding potential. (05/2024)

Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2023 Moulin Haut-Laroque offers up vague notes of prunes and cherries with underlying hints of fried herbs and tobacco plus a hint of cedar. The medium-bodied palate is chewy and thin with a rugged finish. (05/2024)
