The 2023 Château Larrivet Haut-Brion Blanc is terrific, with ripe, exotic fruit balanced by a beautiful sense of minerality and a kiss of good reduction. Orange blossom, grilled pineapple, and floral notes all define this beauty, and it has the sun-kissed fruit of the vintage, with good acidity and flawless balance. Based on 86% Sauvignon and 14% Semillon, aging in 75% new oak, this is a brilliant white in the vintage that readers should snatch up. (05/2024)

As usual, this is an excellent result.
