2023 Château Dalem

A firm and nicely framed red with well-integrated tannins and pure fruit in the center-palate. Delicious finish. Good balance and focus in this young wine. (05/2024)

Always solid, the 2023 Château Dalem boasts a healthy purple hue as well as outstanding aromatics of red and blue fruits, tobacco, and a hint of graphite. It's medium-bodied, plump, rounded, and undeniably pleasure-bent. I think it will drink well right out of the gate yet see no reason it shouldn't evolve gracefully for at least a decade. (05/2024)

Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2023 Dalem reveals scents of rosebud tea, fruitcake, and unsmoked cigars with touches of dried herbs and dusty soil. The medium-bodied palate is chewy, with appealing freshness and just enough delicate fruit expression, finishing a touch rustic. (05/2024)
