2022 Moulin de Duhart

Such beautiful blackberry, chocolate and hazelnut character here. It's medium-bodied with juicy fruit and a succulent finish. All here for the second wine. 87% merlot and 13% cabernet sauvignon. (2023)

A blend of 87% Merlot and 18% Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2022 Moulin De Duhart has a gorgeous nose of ripe black cherries, tobacco, and earth. It's medium-bodied, with plenty of richness, fine tannins, and a great finish. It's going to offer pleasure right out of the gate yet still have 10-15 years of overall longevity. (2023)

The 2022 Moulin de Duhart, 87% Merlot and 13% Cabernet Sauvignon, is deep garnet-purple in color. It leaps with notions of black cherries, redcurrant jelly, and plum preserves, followed by suggestions of chocolate mint and pencil lead. The medium-bodied palate is light on its feet and refreshing, with a soft texture and red berry-laced finish. (2023)

Offering up aromas of plum preserve, hoisin sauce, sweet soil tones and spices, the 2022 Moulin de Duhart is medium to full-bodied, rich and fleshy, with powdery tannins and ripe acids, but this sample lacks a touch of precision. It's a blend dominated by 87% Merlot. (2023)
