The 2022 de Pressac is dense, rich and explosive. Ripe dark cherry, plum, spice, menthol, licorice and chocolate give the 2022 notable depth and complexity. The tannins are very well balanced for a young Pressac, while floral top notes lift the finish. Tasted two times.

Ripe blackberry and cassis here with medium to full body and deep red berry succulence in the middle. Supple and sleek but wide and lengthy, with silky tannins. Long finish. (04/2023)

The 2022 Château De Pressac should be terrific. It has a forward, supple, incredibly charming style carrying lots of spicy red fruits, notes of leather, dried herbs, and loamy earth, medium body, plenty of mid-palate depth, and ripe tannins. I love its overall balance, and this is a seriously good 2022 that's going to offer pleasure right out of the gate. (Tasted twice.) (05/2023)

The 2022 de Pressac, a blend of 70% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Franc, and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon, is deep garnet-purple in color. A tad closed to begin, it soon reveals notes of crushed red and black cherries, juicy plums, and tilled soil with an underlying waft of mossy tree bark. The full-bodied palate is laden with ripe, expressive black and red berry layers, supported by velvety tannins and oodles of freshness, finishing long and earthy. (05/2023)

A lushly fruited red, with dark plum and boysenberry preserve notes, this glides along with grace and focus as black tea, dried anise and violet details fill in throughout. Shows subtle energy through the finish. Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Carmenère and Malbec. Best from 2026 through 2037. 10,200 cases made, 1,000 cases imported.
