2022 Château Senejac

The 2022 Senejac captures all the best the year had to offer. Ripe and fleshy yet also quite vibrant, the 2022 impresses with its balance. Blue/purplish fruit, lavender, licorice, spice, menthol and mocha fill out the layers as the wine builds into a long, beautifully sustained finish.

Vibrant, scented and delineated, showing expressive blue fruit, hibiscus, cassis, minerals and spices. The medium- to full-bodied palate is evenly packed with fresh and fine tannins. Graceful, velvety yet al dente. Spot-on balance with a lengthy but tightly wound finish. Already attractive, but wait three years if you want a more complete Bordeaux. This has the potential to develop for at least another eight to ten years. (01/2025)

The 2022 Senejac is deep garnet-purple in color. Notes of blackberry compote, warm cassis, and Morello cherries jump form the glass with nuances of violets and dried sage. The medium-bodied palate is tightly wound and expressive, featuring fine-grained tannins and bright acidity, finishing with a provocative lift. (05/2023)
