The 2022 Domaine de l'Eglise has a perfumed, floral bouquet with a crushed violet aroma infusing the blackcurrant and bilberry fruit tones. The oak is nicely integrated. The palate is medium-bodied and harmonious, with sappy blackberry and black pepper notes and a fleshy, smooth finish. It's not the most complex Pomerol yet it has charm and will appeal to those seeking a slightly more opulent style.

Dark color with aromas of orange peel, blackberries, blackcurrants and flowers. Medium-bodied with refined tannins and a silky and pretty finish. Reserved and balanced. Typical Pomerol, as always. 98% merlot and 2% cabernet franc. Drink after 2028. (01/2025)
