2022 Château Corbin

The 2022 Corbin is endowed with tremendous power and richness. Huge tannins and strong Franc notes dominates. It will be interesting to see how this develops, as there is a gorgeous core of fruit that emerges gradually with a bit of aeration.

The 2022 Corbin has turned out beautifully, bursting with aromas of cherries and raspberries mingled with hints of violets, vine smoke and bay leaf. Medium to full-bodied, supple and velvety, it's bright, perfumed and polished, but with a touch more mid-palate density and texture than is habitual for this elegant-styled wine. It's a blend of 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc, and such was the quality of all the lots that no second wine was produced this year.
