The palate is medium-bodied with slightly rough-hewn tannins on the entry. Black tea notes tinge its red fruit core, segueing into a slightly austere finish. This is early drinking.

The blackcurrant and blackberries are really terrific with hints of black ink following through to a medium body with supercentered and intense fruit on the palate. The tannins are very integrated and refined for this estate. A top Beau-Site but needs time to soften. 74% cabernet sauvignon, 23% merlot and 3% petit verdot. Best after 2029. (01/2025)

Deep garnet-purple in color, it gallops out with energetic notes of red and black currants, black raspberries, and Morello cherries, plus hints of pencil shavings and underbrush. The medium-bodied palate is tightly wound with delicate fruit layers and firm, grainy tannins, finishing with just enough freshness. (05/2023)
