The 2021 Lost Parcels Cabernet Sauvignon is made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from a vineyard on Atlas Peak. Deep garnet-purple colored, it slowly emerges from the glass with notes of stewed plums, cassis, and kirsch, leading to hints of dried lavender, bay leaves, and graphite. The medium to full-bodied palate delivers wonderful vibrancy and freshness with firm, grainy tannins and a long mineral laced finish. (01/2025)

Consultant Jean Hoefliger produces this wine for a French partnership. A blend of fruit from several different AVAs, the Lost Parcels 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon is rather cedary (it matured in 80% new French oak) but also offers plenty of attractive cherry fruit and hints of darker berries. It's medium to full-bodied and streamlined on the palate, with a nicely velvety-silky texture on the finish.
