Fruity nose of currants, walnuts and dark berry fruit with a touch of sage. It’s medium-bodied, clean and focused, with nicely polished and fine tannins. Silky finish. Drink or hold. (07/2024)

Bright Bing cherries, raspberries, spice, and dried flower notes all emerge from the 2021 Clos Fontaine, a soft, medium-bodied, moderately concentrated yet balanced red that has good fruit and charm, although not much richness and depth. It's going to be ideal for drinking on release and over the following 5-7 years or so. (08/2022)
