The 2021 Laurence is laced with wild cherry, cedar, tobacco, spice and new leather. It shows good depth in the understated and savory style of the year. Orange peel, mint, sage and dried flowers linger on the aromatic, nervy finish.

Light red plums, raspberries and potpourri on the nose with olives and hints of roasted spices. The juicy and medium-bodied palate shows fresh, chewy tannins and a succulent finish. A tad simple, but delivers crunch and drinkability. Drink now.

Ripe black cherries, leather, and leafy tobacco notes all emerge from the 2021 Château Laurence, a ripe, round, medium-bodied 2021 that has beautiful tannins, solid mid-palate depth, and a great finish. It's borderline outstanding and a hidden little gem of a wine that should keep for 7-8 years, if not a decade. (04/2024)

The 2021 Laurence is 100% Merlot and it has a medium to deep garnet-purple color. Woody notes of cedar and cloves lead to a core of mulberries and boysenberries, with touches of dried Provence herbs and Sichuan pepper. Medium-bodied, the palate delivers refreshing acidity and chewy tannins to support the delicate flavors, finishing on a woody note. (04/2024)
