Incredible damson plum fruit in the nose, the toasty oak pushed into the background by its intensity. Enormous ripeness, but also so fresh. Enveloping richness on the concentrated medium- to full-bodied palate. This is so refined and delicate at the beginning and on the mid-palate, but then it builds to a great crescendo at the breathtaking finish. Delicious now, but with great aging potential. Drink or hold.
