For anyone who did yet realize what a great future chardonnay has in Germany, here is a wonderful introduction to this new facet of the world of wine. Wonderful interplay of flinty and white tree fruit aromas, likewise a lovely balance of creaminess and chalky acidity. Long crisp finish. Wild-fermented and matured sur lie in small oak cooperage. Unfiltered. Drink or hold.
