The 2020 Chardonnay was fermented in barrique. The nose immediately signals a lactic note, and a moment later, flint follows. The palate is creamy and still crackling with slight reduction but with vivid freshness despite the hot 2020 vintage. There's a lovely balance between fruit, smokiness and wood, with a fine, fresh finish and beautiful length. (Bone-dry)
