Quite toasty with a touch of roasted coffee, this shows the typical silkiness of the variety (a local mutation of pinot noir), but has a bit too much oak for its own good and the alcohol shows slightly at the finish. Drink now. (08/2021)

Silky, finessed and highly elegant on the palate, this is a full-bodied, very intense and juicy, powerful and warming Pinot whose sweetness intermingles with the body, concentration and richness of this unique style. Love it or leave it. Tasted in Wiesbaden in August 2021.
