The 2019 La Rose Figeac has a modest nose with dense black fruit tinged with liquorice and sage, but it needs more delineation. The palate is medium-bodied with succulent, saturated tannins, good acidity with a sharp citric note on the finish. It needs a little more cohesion that may come during its barrel maturation.

An attractive red with blackberry and black-olive character. It’s medium-bodied with firm tannins and a juicy finish. (05/2020)

The 2019 Château La Rose Figeac offers a healthy ruby/purple hue as well as an earthy bouquet of mulled red and black fruits, tobacco, damp earth, and graphite. It's a plump, medium-bodied, nicely textured 2019 to enjoy on release and over the following decade.(06/2020)

The 2019 Chateau la Rose Figeac has a deep garnet-purple color. It sashays out of the glass with pretty notes of wild blueberries, black cherries and raspberry preserves plus wafts of potpourri, cedar chest and pencil lead with a hint of dried sage. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is packed with energetic black fruits, sporting a firm, fine-grained texture to support and oodles of freshness, finishing long with an herbal lift.
