2015 Roero Arneis "La Val dei Preti"

The 2015 Roero Arneis La Val dei Preti is done in a style that deftly balances richness and energy. Apricot, dried flowers and tropical notes add character to this layered, creamy Arneis. The 2015 is very much an extroverted Arneis, but all the elements are impeccably balanced.

Here's a special treat in the form of an aged Arneis. The Matteo Correggia 2015 Roero Arneis La Val dei Preti (in a screw-cap bottle) is quite beautiful with tertiary tones of honey, tea leaf and some fragrant caper flower. It shows a bright golden color with traces of shiny emerald. Tasted now seven years after the harvest, you can't ask for more in terms of elegance and complexity. There is waxy honey and dried apricot. This is a special wine with 6,660 bottles made.
